Creative Head

Ekene Som Mekwunye is an award-winning Nigerian filmmaker, director, producer, and educator, renowned for movies like Light in the Dark, One Lagos Night, Sylvia, How To Love Me, Honey Money (in partnership with Filmone and VSL), Ambivalent, Kali . He began his career as a camera assistant and rose to prominence after studying filmmaking at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles.

His short films, including Oblivious and The Encounter, have won accolades like the AMVCA for Best Short Film and Best Soundtrack. His feature films have screened at prestigious festivals such as Nollywood Week Paris, BFI London, and Cannes, with One Lagos Night being acquired by Netflix.

Beyond filmmaking, Mekwunye is passionate about education and mentorship. He teaches at Pan-Atlantic University and runs The Imagery Program, offering free workshops for aspiring filmmakers.

Nwaturuocha Fulfilment, fondly known as Fuchi, is a dynamic Nigerian filmmaker, on-air personality, content creator, and writer. With a professional diploma in Television Production from NTA Television College and additional qualifications in Mass Communication and Nursing, Fuchi merges her diverse skills to tell compelling stories.

Her filmography spans short and feature films that explore themes of love, betrayal, depression, domestic violence, and comedy, with works like One Lagos Night (Netflix), Kali, and Hanging Thread. She has held key roles as a producer, assistant director, and line producer for Riverside Productions and other notable platforms.

Inspired by renowned filmmakers like Steven Spielberg and Quentin Tarantino, Fuchi is committed to crafting visually captivating African narratives that drive social change and redefine storytelling.
